Our Mission
To uplift African-Canadian youth, young adults, and young parents by providing mentorship, education, leadership training, digital skills, economic empowerment supports, and family engagement activities that help individuals develop their abilities, expand opportunities, and thrive in school, work, family, and community life. We believe that every young person deserves the chance to discover their potential, connect with their heritage, and build a bright future for themselves and their community.

Our Story
Sankofa Afri-Canadian Mentorship+ Hub was born out of the success of our initial Mentorship Program — a grassroots initiative that guided hundreds of young people in discovering their potential, building confidence, and taking steps toward brighter futures.
What began as a small startup effort has grown into a vibrant hub of mentorship, education, and community support, proving that with the right guidance and opportunities, transformation is possible.
